Come enjoy a peaceful evening at Belvedere Farm. Wander the fields and fill a vase by harvesting your own stems, then relax and treat yourself to a chilled sparkling water and sweets. Bring a blanket…and maybe some bug spray…and delight in the magical twilight hour.
What to expect:
Flowers!
Uneven ground—we are a working farm, and there are definitely some divots and humps to keep an eye out for. We highly recommend wearing close-toed shoes.
Fresh air.
Bugs, and yes, this includes bees. Somehow, bugs (especially bees!) and flowers just kind of go together. We often wear bug spray…you should, too!
Flowers! Oh wait, we said already said that.
What to bring:
Snips, if you have them. (We will have several available to share.)
Water bottle. Hydration is important!
Blanket, if you want sit and relax for a bit.
Bug spray.
Rain date: Should the weather not cooperate on August 1st, we will reschedule for following evening, Sunday, August 2nd.
TICKETS: As a safety precaution, we require anyone cutting flowers independently to be 12 years or older. Children under 12 are welcome to help family and friends fill their vase, so long as they are supervised when using harvesting tools.
For those interested in the cut-your-experience. Includes a reusable plastic vase to hold your harvest. We estimate approximately 25-35 stems per vase, depending on the type of flower. (Please note that no outside vases, buckets, or other containers are permitted.)
Required for entry. Valid for one vehicle; covers admission for all passengers (entry + refreshments). Please purchase separate ‘Vase + Flower’ tickets to participate in the cut-your-own experience.
